Information and feedback sessions on the IDP and Budget to be held in each town Bergrivier Municipality will be hosting its Information and Feedback Sessions on the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and Budget during September 2025. These sessions are a key opportunity for residents to meet with their ward councillors and municipal officials to gain insight into the Municipality’s strategic plans, development priorities, and financial allocations for the coming year. The IDP and Budget guide the way in which services are delivered, projects are prioritised, and resources are allocated, making it vital for communities to be informed and actively involved in the process. All residents are encouraged to attend their respective ward sessions to share input, raise concerns, and provide feedback that will assist the Municipality in aligning its planning with the real needs of the community. By engaging in these meetings, citizens play a direct role in shaping the future of their towns and neighbourhoods, while ensuring transparency and accountability in local governance. Together, the Municipality and its residents can continue working towards sustainable development and improved service delivery across the Bergrivier Municipal Area.
